SWF & FLV Toolbox - Advanced Projector

The most important feature SWF & FLV Toolbox provides is conversion Macromedia SWF files and Flash video (FLV) into Projector executable file. The biggest advantage of this format is that it allows you to distribute your Flash movies hassle free no matter if end-users have Macromedia Flash Player locally installed. You may convert SWF/FLV into EXE files that could be easily opened as any executable application. SWF & FLV Toolbox offers practically absolute control over Advanced Projector EXE file letting you adjust plenty of settings starting with file formation and up to player window size and precise location. It may seem overwhelming at the first glance, however Advanced Projector has several tabs logically grouped by their purpose and functionality. Let's overview all of them starting from leftmost:

While redistributing your Flash movies to clients machine you may face the problem that not all clients have Flash player plug-in installed and, therefore, not all clients are able to view Flash movies. To overcome this problem you may add the possibility to lauch Flash movies independently whether necessary plags-ins were installed, therefore, produced Flash movie will be similar to stand-alone applications. Please, note that your files will grow in size. If you haven't ticked this option, you may set up warning message that will be shown to the end-user before library installation.

Interaction controls tab consists of the group of settings that defines Flash movie interaction behavior. You can enable/disable keyboard/mouse activity, display movie controls in Advanced Projector file (stop/play/pause etc.), enable automatic playback on movie load, set to play movie continuously (loop), display main menu (File etc.) and context menu items. To add more, you may select what context menu items to display removing all irrelevant options you may find. Context menu items are basically same as standard Macromedia Flash context menu items, however, SWF & FLV Toolbox offers few additional options: Sound ON/OFF (sound indicator), About and Go to end

Please, pay attention to movie controls. You may notice at the bottom right corner zooming window which is a unique feature SWF & FLV Toolbox presents. Among standard zooming this window makes available to select specific part of the movie window to zoom in, and, as the result, endowing you with greater control over the movie.

There is one pinpoint we should mention which is not absolutely clear. You may disable playback option from the context menu ("Play") however movie controls will remain visible if you have enabled Add panel with movie controls option.
