This feature allows saving every single frame of the original SWF/FLV file into a set of images. File names will be automatically generated by appending frame number as suffix to image name. For instance, conversion of test.swf into series of JPEG images will create following files: test_frame001.jpg, test_frame002.jpg, test_frame003.jpg and so on. Please note that selecting maximum image quality value may result in significant disk space demand. Try different options to produce desired result.
Let's overview all available controls:
Quality of JPG format could be set from drop-down menu (Low, Medium, High, Max), by typing numerical values in spin box (from to) or using slider (from 1 to 12). Tick "Grayscale images" checkbox if you would like to create grayscale images (with halftones).
Palettes option defines the number of colors in palette used for representing all available colors in image. Apparently, the higher number of colors in palette is the better image quality will be and, therefore, larger image file.
Dithering is a process of reducing the number of colors in palette and interpolating color transition from available colors which may produce blurring effect. Selecting "Low" option will result in the best output image quality and on contrary, selecting "Max" option will result in the worse.
To adjust BMP image quality set appropriate "Color depth" value.
You may define image series size by specifying width and height values in corresponding spin boxes, set stretching mode and anti-aliasing method. "Stretch" option will stretch resulting image to maximum width and height you have specified while "Fit" option will retain original image proportions.
