Shared Serial Ports toolbar offers convenient access to all major features and operations our application provides.
Use this option to share serial port, selected in Serial ports tree panel. Once serial port is shared, you may access it using any serial port applications (Windows Hyperterminal, modem, etc). Please, note that you cannot share a port which is already shared ("Share port" is disabled when port is already shared).
Click "Unshare port" button to unshare serial port, selected in Serial ports tree panel. Application, which is connected to selected serial port, should be closed prior to unsharing the port. Once serial port is unshared, only a single application can access it. Please, note that you cannot unshare port which is not shared ("Unshare port" is disabled when port is not shared).
Use this button to unshare all shared serial ports in your system. All applications which are connected to shared serial ports should be closed prior to unsharing, alternatively, you will see an error message in Status bar.
This button clears all custom rights set for all shared serial ports. This button is disabled (grayed) if no custom rights are set.
"Help" button provides options to launch user manual (you are currently reading), visit Eltima's homepage (requires Internet connection) and get information about other products, enter registration code as well as get brief information about Shared Serial Ports (version and build number, technical support line, etc.).
