Advanced Keylogger offers several options for increased flexibility and customization as well as for advanced configuration of its engine and features. Once you click the "Personalize" button you will get to the preferences screen of Advanced Keylogger. The first thing you will be able to configure here is the screenshots taking.
There are three options in this relation: screenshots interval, quality and color depth. The interval may be either zero (never), 1 minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, half an hour or one hour. This means the screenshot of current desktop activity will be taken every 1, 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes. This is the interval the screenshots will appear in the Screenshots log.

When configuring screenshots quality you should keep in mind that the better quality you select, the more CPU-consuming they will be and the more place they will occupy on your hard drive. Also, note that there's no much need to see information you are searching for in full color all the time. That is why enabling grayscale screenshots is a recommended option, though we didn't pre-check it to avoid confusion.
Security
If you prefer more stealthiness than just a secret hotkey combination, you may enable unhide password for additional security in Personalization options. Just input whatever you like to be a password. This password will be asked when you unhide Advanced Keylogger as an additional measurement and identity check. Remember, that it's always better to select a stronger password. There's no password confirmation in Advanced Keylogger, so, please, be attentive when entering it, as once you forget or mistype it, you will have to reinstall Advanced Keylogger.
You might be willing to select not to mask your password to be sure what is entered. If you prefer to change the Unhide hotkey, you can also select another letter in this screen. Remember, that unhide hotkey should contain only English letters, otherwise it will be automatically reverted to CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+R.
Additionally, you may enable monitoring warning to warn the users of your PC that this computer is being monitored. This option might be useful for public places or more loyal parents, or else.
Automatic logs clearing
It is recommended to enable automatic logs clearing to prevent them from becoming too big and easily located on your hard drive (especially if you have low capacity disk). Remember, that all the logs are saved in a secret place on your system disk, so it is generally useful to clear the logs at least every 2-3 days. If you don't feel like doing this manually, you can enable automatic clearing using this option.
Logs clearing after sending them via e-mail is enabled by default, since we suppose that once the logs are e-mailed, you no longer need them at the monitored PC.
You will also see an additional label concerning automatic uninstallation of Advanced Keylogger, if you selected this option during deployment. It may either tell you that Advanced Keylogger will be removed on a specific date according to your selection at the time of installing it, or that the automatic uninstallation is not enabled. Automatic uninstallation setting can only be changed during reinstallation.
Receive logs secretly to your e-mail
Advanced Keylogger features simplified logs' e-mailing configuration option. Simply input the address you would like to receive the logs to, select the SMTP port to use or leave port 25 by default (in majority of configurations), write in your email username and password and select how often you would like to receive the reports to your mailbox. It can be either 1, 4 or 24 hours. Or you can completely disable remote logs delivery if you don't need this feature. When the settings are in, you may try to test the e-mailing configuration. Press "Test logs' e-mailing" button to do this. For the time of this test the interface of Advanced Keylogger may be inaccessible for several moments, after that you will receive a confirmation or negative message.
Once you get the message that the server is ready to receive logs at the specified port, you can be sure that within the selected time the first portion of logs will be in your mailbox. Or you can use Quick tasks to speed this up. Note, that you might need to adjust these settings from time to time, or in case your mail server is not accessible when you configure Advanced Keylogger.
Note, that the majority of email services require authorization nowadays, so we recommend you to tick the corresponding "Server requires authorization" checkbox and input all your email information.
