The only way to remove password protection from binary executable is using unprotect wizard in EXE Password Protector. Please, note that you cannot remove protection made by other programs.

1. Start EXE Password Protector if it is not already running
2. Select Unprotect executable tab to start protection wizard

   

3. Welcome message displayed at the first window, briefly describes the steps you should perform to remove the password. You may skip this message next time you access unprotection wizard by disabling Do not show this welcome message again checkbox.

   

   Click button to proceed.

4. At the next step you have to specify executable file you want to unprotect.

   

   You may type in the full path to the executable or click Browse button to invoke "Open file" dialog where you may select the file needed. Please, note that you may not select files that are already protected by EXE Password Protector or you will get an error while unprotecting them. This is done to make sure that the password will not be maliciously overwritten. Once necessary file is specified, please, click button to proceed.

5. Next, type in the password you are using to protect this file.

   

   The password you type will be masked by "*" characters to hide it from others. If you would like to unveil what you type, please, disable Mask passwords option. Once you have typed the correct password click button to proceed.

6. Finally, you may see the progress bar and log messages to check if any problems occurred

   

   To test the resulting executable file, please, click Test button. If the password was successfully removed, EXE file should be launched without the password. You may unprotect another file by clicking Unprotect another file button to start unprotection wizard again.
