SPM - Starting monitoring
As soon as you start new session and select your desired visualizers, you are ready to start monitoring itself. Note, that monitoring does not start automatically, unless you selected the corresponding option when you created the session.
To enable monitoring, please, follow these simple steps.
1. Start new monitoring session
2. Choose "Monitoring -> Start" from the main menu, or click "Start monitoring" on the main toolbar, or press F5:
3. Monitoring will be started immediately.
4. Now you will see that "Start monitoring" button is deactivated and 2 other icons ("Pause monitoring", "Stop monitoring") became enabled. It means that monitoring started successfully and is now in progress.
5. Now you can go on and open the port with your software/hardware or our advanced send dialog.
Note: you can start monitoring of the port whenever you like, even if the port is occupied by the other application (available in Professional Edition only).
