Serial Port Terminal - How to save/load session parameters?
Advanced Serial Port Terminal is a session-based application which means that you may personalize your connection settings for every remote host or serial port device, save them in a separate configuration set and automatically load this configuration set whenever you need. This is particularly useful if you have a number of different devices with a distinct set of options.
To manage your session parameters Advanced Serial Port Terminal offers "New session" dialog window which could be invoked from Main Menu, Toolbar or using "Alt" + "N" hot keys combination.
To save your connection session parameters do the following:
- Select "File" -> "New session" from the Main Menu to open "New
session" dialog
- Customize your connection settings in "New session configuration"
group
- Type a distinct session name in "New configuration" text
field
- Click "Save" button
To load your connection session parameters do the following:
- Select "File" -> "New session" from the Main Menu to open "New
session" dialog
- Select the configuration session from "Available configurations"
group.
- Click "Open" button
