Serial Splitter is distributed as a single package: serial_splitter.exe (may be ZIPped). This is a Windows Installer database file packed into the executable file. Use the following procedure to install Serial Splitter on your computer:

• Make sure that you have all required privileges in order to run Setup packages on the local machine. You must be a member of Administrators group or you must have an Install Device Drivers privilege assigned to you by the administrator of the local machine in order to successfully install the software and utilize it.
• Launch the serial_splitter.exe file. Follow the steps offered by the installation wizard.

• After the product is successfully installed, run it either directly from the installer, or using any of the shortcuts created.

Note: Serial Splitter 4 is not compatible with previous versions of Serial Splitter and Shared Serial Ports. If you have them installed on your PC, delete all bundles, uninstall Serial Splitter and Shared Serial Ports, and reboot your PC. Now you can install Serial Splitter 4.
