Shared Serial Ports - Configuration panel

Configuration panel lets you set advanced access rights for the selected shared serial port and specify serial port connection parameters:

"Add application with custom access rights" option lets you select an application which you can set custom access right for. Click folder icon at the end of the text field to invoke "Open file" dialog and navigate to the desired exe file.

"Allow reading", "Allow writing" and "Manage control lines" checkboxes let you turn reading, writing and control lines management on/off respectively.

"Unset custom rights" button removes all custom rights for the selected shared serial port.

"Set custom rights" button assigns new custom rights to the application connected to shared serial port, selected in Serial ports tree.
Important notice: if several applications (with "Manage control lines" option enabled) are connected to shared serial port, only the application, which was the first to connect, will be able to manage control lines.

Serial port connection parameters can be set by selecting from "Use dynamic parameters" and "Use custom parameters" radio-button options. If you select "Use dynamic parameters" option, shared serial port will be opened with connection parameters (baudrate, databits, stop bits, parity, flow control) set by the application that is connected to this port. Moreover, this application must have "Manage control lines" access rights option enabled. On the other hand, you can specify connection parameters directly in Shared Serial Ports if you select "Use custom parameters" option.

Finally click "Apply" button to apply changes.
