SyncMate - Synchronization with USB flash drive

This feature allows you to synchronize images, music, videos, folders between your Mac and USB flash drive. Moreover, you may backup your USB flash drive data and easily restore it using time marks. 

To establish connection with USB flash drive, please, follow these instructions:

1. Click "Add connection" button , which is located in the upper right corner of the main screen. "Device connection Wizard" will be invoked:

2. Select "USB Flash drive" connection in "Device connection Wizard" and click "Continue" button.

3. Please, plug in your USB flash drive to USB port, wait a bit, and click "Continue" button:

4. Set the "Connection name" of USB flash drive and select devices' icon if you wish. The icon will be displayed in "Devices list" area:

5. If you do not want to sync a particular USB flash drive, you can add it to ignore list by choosing "Ignore this device" option. That means that USB flash drive won't be detected by SyncMate, and synchronization with this USB flash drive won't be performed. If you ever change your mind and decide to sync this USB flash drive with your Mac, all you have to do is establish connection with this USB flash drive in SyncMate via "Device connection Wizard", as described above in this section.

6. Click "Finish" button. If connection was successful, you will see your USB flash drive's name in "Devices list" area.


Now you are ready to synchronize:

  1. iPhoto
  2. iTunes and Video
  3. Folders
  4. Backup
