SyncMate gives you a great possibility to synchronize your Mac Address Book, iCal, Safari bookmarks, To Dos, Entourage and Mail notes with other Macs.
To connect your Mac to another one, please, follow these instructions:
1. The first thing you should do is to configure several SyncMate settings of your Mac.
Note, SyncMate should be installed on all Macs you are going to sync with.
2. Click "Add connection" button
, which is located in the upper right corner of the main screen, and "Device connection Wizard" will be invoked:

3. Select "Another Mac" connection in "Device connection Wizard" and click "Continue" button.
4. Please, enter remote Mac IP-address and port to connect to:

If remote Mac uses password protection for secure connection, enter password into the corresponding text field and click "Continue" button.
Note, in order to connect successfully your Mac to another Mac, the remote site should have real IP-address. That means it must be accessible from the Internet disregarding whether remote IP-address is static or dynamic.
The following window will be invoked if the connection to another Mac was unsuccessful:

5. Set the "Connection name" of Mac you connect to and select remote Mac icon if you wish. The icon will be displayed in "Devices list" area.

6. Click "Finish" button.
