USB to Ethernet Connector - Main menu
Main menu provides access to all USB to Ethernet Connector features and options and highly resembles standard application's menu. There are several menu items available listed below:
- Share devices
- Share local USB devices - use this option to share local USB devices (physically attached to this PC). As the result remote hosts could access this device on demand.
- Unshare local USB device - disable USB device sharing. The remote host connected to selected USB device will be automatically disconnected. Once the device is unshared you may use it in a usual way.
- Unshare all local USB devices - disable USB ports' sharing for all local USB devices. This option will automatically disconnect all remote hosts from accessing shared local USB devices and you may use local USB devices in a usual way.
- Connect devices
- Add remote USB device - invokes connection dialog where you may search for available local/remote shared USB devices and add them to your system
- Delete remote USB device - remove selected USB device from your system
- Connect - connect to selected shared USB device. Once it was successfully connected, this device will appear in "Device Manager"
- Disconnect - disconnect from selected USB device
- View
- Shared USB ports only - view only local USB ports that are shared for other users
- Show only present devices - filter out all USB ports except the ones that have USB devices attached to
- Show only connected devices - view only USB devices which the connection is established to
- Help
- User Manual option opens user manual you are currently reading
- Homepage launches the default internet browser and redirects to USB to Ethernet Connector homepage (requires Internet connection)
- Enter registration code invokes the dialog where you may enter registration code to unlock the demo version. This code will be sent to you after you purchase a license.
- About displays brief information about USB to Ethernet Connector (version/registration info etc.)
