Virtual Modem PRO - Remote Service Management
Virtual Modem PRO service supports remote management using Windows Pipes. Pipe name for the virtual modems is \\.\pipe\\VirtualModemControl. Please, note that virtual modems that were created using Pipe will not installed into a system as modems per se but will appear as virtual serial ports. On demand you may install you may install virtual modem onto this serial port using Windows standard "Add new hardware" wizard (via "Control Panel").
