VSPD Main menu
Main menu provides access to main Virtual Serial Ports Driver options. All the menu items available are listed below:
-Port pairs
- Create pair
Creates virtual serial port pair. The next not occupied serial port number will be assigned automatically.
- Delete pair
Deletes virtual serial port pair chosen in Serial ports explorer.
- Delete all
Delete all virtual serial pairs currently created in the system.
- Exit
Closes VSPD configuration application.
-Options
- Enable strict baudrate emulation by default
Strict baudrate emulation will be enabled by default when creating new ports pairs. You can refer to Manage ports section to get detailed information about this function.
- Confirm ports deleting
This option activates "confirm" message after you click "delete" or "delete all" buttons
- Make virtual ports available for printers
This option allows you to connect printer to any created virtual port ("Print Spooler" service or windows restart required). This is achieved by registering virtual serial ports in Windows Registry so, that they can be selected in Add Printer Wizard.
