Serial Splitter offers several options:
- Enable baudrate emulation for virtual serial ports
Baudrate emulation permits virtual ports to work with the same speed as real ones. It equalizes their speed, thus avoiding data losses.
- Ignore errors when creating bundles
Permits to carry on creation/opening process even if some of the pairs are not created/opened.
- Retry opening real port later in case of failure
This option automatically reopens serial port in case it doesn’t open at the start (and “Ignore errors…” options is enabled) or if serial port was removed while service was running (USB to COM lead was unplugged).
- Make virtual and shared ports available for printers
This option permits virtual and shared ports to be visible for such periphery as printers.
