Once you create a new connection you can edit most of its settings. Serial to Ethernet Connector allows you to do it on-the-fly. You need to choose the desired connection or any of its branches in Connections tree and click “Edit” on the main toolbar or just right-click the created connection in “Connections Tree” and select “Edit connection”.
Now you are able to change the following settings:
- Connection name.
- Serial port which participates in connection.
- Server’s IP address (or network name) and port number to connect to.
When you finish editing connection settings, just click “Update” button and continue communication process.
Note: make sure that the remote host’s name you specified is the local one and port number matches the one you set on the local end configuration.
