Once you create a new connection you can edit most of its settings. Serial to Ethernet Connector allows you to do it on-the-fly. You need to choose the desired connection or any of its branches in Connections tree and click “Edit” on the main toolbar or just right-click the created connection in “Connections Tree” and select “Edit connection”. Now you are able to change the following settings:
- Connection name.
- Local serial port which participates in connection.
- TCP port number which server will listen to. Make sure this port is not blocked by firewall (if any) and is not used by other servers in your system (DNS, SMTP, IIS, etc.) If you are not sure, please, do not modify this value.
When you finish editing connection settings, just click “Update” button and continue communication process.
