To view everything you send to the remote end (in Terminal view and Edit view modes only), enable "Echo" option.
To enable "Echo" option, click "Echo" toolbar button:
…or configure this option in "Appearance" tab of Preferences.
Status of "Echo" command (on/off) is displayed in Status bar:
